Frank Shines, the former IBM executive and Air Force officer who is now the Director of Continuous Improvement and Analytics with healthcare Specialty Pharmacy, Accredo, (an Express Scripts company), will give a presentation on Big Data Analytics in Healthcare. The event is organized by Innovation Enterprise.
The title of Frank Shines’ presentation is SoLoMo Big Data is the New VOC: How Social-Local-Mobile Magnifies Rate & Reach of Voice of Customer. Frank will present some of the latest findings on how to analyze unstructured data from patient survey comments to social media and Web information. Using sentiment analysis and machine learning methods, he shows how Accredo and others are able to identify ways to improve the patient experience, brand image and operational performance. Frank leads a team of Lean Six Sigma Continuous Improvement and Data Analytics experts who support Accredo Operations, Sales and Marketing.
Frank was born in the Silicon Valley near Stanford University and attended high school in the Seattle, WA area near Microsoft and Boeing. Growing up in these locations sparked his interest in technology, innovation and aviation and influenced his career trajectory: he went on to train and compete with Olympic athletes, fly Air Force jets and travel the world as a business and technology consultant advising top military brass, corporate executives and new startups, to include his uncle’s television companies in Chicago, IL.
Frank is a world traveler, lover of all things “Brasil” and proud father of a 6 year old daughter. He is married to a wonderfully crazy Jamaican-American wife. They live in Florida and enjoy the outdoors, gymnastics and golf.
